Mindfulness based Stress Reduction Information and Taster Sessions


These Information and Taster sessions will be ideal for beginners and will include some basic information about mindfulness and how it might relate to your life, including some short, simple guided practices. 

They will be held at:

St Paul’s Church Centre (Centre of Whitley Bay) on Thursday 15th June 2017 - 7pm to 8.30pm (evening session)

Gosforth Physio and Wellness Centre (2, Ivy Road, next to Trinity on Gosforth High Street) on Monday 12th June 2017 - 10am to 11.30am (morning session)


The cost for these sessions will be £7 per person.

Practice Groups in Newcastle and Whitley Bay


These practice groups are for “graduates” of the MBSR course, and a way to refresh and support ongoing practice. The sessions are small and welcoming, with people at all stages of developing mindfulness practice. Each session consists of some guided practice and teaching, and some time to discuss home practice, with suggestions and ideas to support you in bringing mindfulness to your daily life.

Bringing Mind and Body Together: Mindful Movement to Start the Day

Yogastation, Whitley Bay Metro Station.

This is a drop in session on Wednesday mornings from 6.45am to 7.45am. Cost £6 per session. All experience and abilities welcome.

****If you intend to come to a session please email or text (07949 467993) the night before to make sure that the class is running that week as I am away from time to time.

Gentle movement and mindfulness practices, designed for complete beginners who want to develop a mindful movement practice, or for those who want to add some balance and mindfulness to their existing active practice.
